Christopher Bautista is a Vancouver-based actor with credits across feature film, television, and contemporary theatre. He has worked with directors including Jeremy Saulnier, Millicent Shelton, and Stan Brooks, and on stages including Tarragon Theatre, The Cultch, and The Grand Theatre.
He trained at the University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts in the Meisner, Hagen, Adler, and Stanislavski techniques, with additional study at Second City Toronto, EVN Studios with Earl Nanu, and The Lighthouse Actor's Studio with Angela Besharah. He carries Fight Captain experience and over a decade of military and combat-arts training, including the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program.
Bautista is an alumnus of the Netflix-Banff DOV Initiative (2023) and a Dora-nominated stage performer. He is based in Vancouver and works across British Columbia and Canada-wide.
Bautista is also the founder of Matista Creative Inc., an independent production company developing his next feature Becoming John Horse.
